Component-level repair, not a swap-and-ship

A part replacement carried out in a client's own office, not carried back to a bench. The notebook is opened on a field ESD mat and stripped to keyboard, system board, heatsink and fan assembly, battery and storage, each laid out against a screw map before rebuild. Doing this on site is what turns a machine that would otherwise leave the building for a week into one back on its desk the same day.
